Ampo needed a commerce platform that could support electrical product distribution, account-specific purchasing, promotions, and workflows for store owners who may not be highly technical.

The platform also needed to connect with Nanoco's SAP HANA Cloud environment on Microsoft Azure while running on an AWS foundation prepared for future mobile apps and B2C channels.

The team had to design around complex product categories, customer-specific purchasing rules, promotion logic, and operational data already living inside SAP HANA Cloud.

The platform needed secure connectivity between AWS and Azure, while still giving store owners a clear ordering experience that could scale beyond the first release.

• Built a full distributor ordering platform for electrical product categories, account-specific purchasing, and store-owner workflows.
• Integrated Ampo with Nanoco's SAP HANA Cloud in Microsoft Azure through secure site-to-site connectivity.
• Deployed AWS architecture with CloudFront, load balancing, auto-scaled backend hosts, replicated RDS, S3 release artifacts, CloudWatch, and SNS monitoring.
• Prepared API and backend foundations for mobile apps, B2C commerce channels, and future customer segments.
